阻止免疫系統「踏擋仔」來治療癌症 Tsóo-tsí bián-i̍k-hē-thóng “ta̍h-tòng-á” lâi tī-liâu gâm-tsìng

2018年的Nobel生理醫學獎決定頒發予發展癌症免疫療法的兩位學者:美國MD Anderson 癌症中心的James Allison和日本京都大學的Tasuku Honjo。Nobel委員會呵咾表示:𪜶兩位免疫學家透過刺激原底受壓制的免疫系統來對抗腫瘤,就若親像共一台車的車擋仔放掉仝款,予醫學界建立全新的癌症治療模式。這毋但是頭一擺Nobel生理醫學獎頒發予研究癌症療法的學者,也是自從舊年頒發予研究生理時鐘的科學家了後,閣再一擺以實際行動肯定做基礎研究的科學家。
